About Healthy Smiles

First Medcare Healthy Smiles provides preventative dental care to children who have signed a Healthy Smiles parental consent form. All treatments are non-invasive and done within the school.

Services

These services can detect cavities in their early stages and protect the teeth. We also provide exciting, interactive, educational workshops teaching children the importance of developing good oral hygiene habits at a young age. This creates a positive experience that children can associate with dentistry for years to come. All services are completely covered by Medicaid or private insurance. There is no out of pocket cost to families or schools.

Results, Recommendation and Follow-ups

Following our visit, every student receives a follow up dental report explaining the findings of our visit as well as any follow up instruction i.e. the need to visit their dentist to treat a cavity. Your school will receive a dental form for each student's medical record as proof of their completed dental exam as recommended by the Department of Health.
