Hello Incoming Grade 6 Guardians and Class of 2029, 

 

We are thrilled to welcome you to Fort Greene Preparatory Academy! Amazing things are happening at Fort Greene Prep, and we know our incoming Wolf Pack Class of 2029 is ready to HOWL! Before the school year begins, we would love the opportunity to get to know you and your family.  

 

Our scholars are the most important part of our school! We view this time as an opportunity to hear your voice and collaborate with you on the upcoming year to ensure we are caring for your dreams and needs. Get ready for an exciting start to the school year. There’s so much to look forward to!  

 

Mark your calendar for these upcoming welcome events: 

 

• Ice Cream Social & Student Meet-and-Greet on Thursday, May 28th, from 4:00–6:00 PM. It’s the perfect chance for students to make new friends, meet classmates, and enjoy a sweet treat!  

• Family Orientation Sessions (choose the time that works best for you):  

  • Tuesday, June 9th 9:00am 

  • Wednesday, June 10th at 4:00pm 

• Summer Bridge—This two‑day program helps students feel confident and prepared for the first day of school. 

  • Tuesday, September 1, 2026: 9:00am –12:00pm  

  • Wednesday, September 2, 2026: 9:00am –12:00pm 

• Parent/Caregiver Community Building—While your children are in their community building session, come meet your new Pack of adults for parent community building. 

  • Tuesday, September 1, 2026: 10:00am to 12:00pm
